We are proud to announce our participation in Paris Design Week 2024. This event, which will be held from September 5 to 14 , in our La Maison Convertible boutique at 89 boulevard Sébastopol , Paris 3rd, will be an opportunity for us to unveil the results of our design competition entitled "Which sofa tomorrow?", and above all to present to the public the sofa of the big winner, designed in one of our Italian factories.
Always very close to our partner designers , our brand is committed to promoting their creativity. Part of our catalog is designed by talented designers and it is with great pride that we will unveil our new partnership to you during Paris Design Week .
Back to the “Which Sofa Tomorrow?” competition
In 2023, we launched the first edition of a design competition on the theme of "the sofa of tomorrow", with the task of imagining a sofa capable of responding to consumers' new lifestyles. Our competition received more than 110 applications , from which a jury of experts selected the winners: the Grand Prize, the Innovation Prize, the Eco-responsibility Prize and a Special Mention.
The Grand Prize: Pierre-Louis Gerlier - "Le Suisse" project
The Grand Prix was awarded to Pierre-Louis Gerlier for his project "Le Suisse". This versatile sofa, a true Swiss army knife of furniture, offers more than 10 different configurations thanks to its movable modules.
Inspired by Middle Eastern architecture and lifestyle, this project aims to create a space for sharing rather than a simple object. The prototype will be exhibited in the La Maison Convertible boutique at 89 boulevard de Sébastopol throughout Paris Design Week.
An exclusive presentation at Paris Design Week
The winners' projects will be presented in images in the La Maison Convertible boutique, but you will also have the opportunity to preview the Swiss sofa, designed by the competition winner, Pierre-Louis Gerlier.
This presentation will be an opportunity to discover the projects in detail and to discuss with their creators their inspirations and design processes.
