HOW DO I CLEAN MY FURNITURE?

To clean a fabric sofa , you must first blot the stain with a cloth to limit damage. For stains on cotton, use soapy water.

If there are stains on the silk, sprinkle them with talcum powder.

If there are stains on the wool, sprinkle them with bed base powder. Let it absorb then brush gently.

To clean moderately soiled velvet sofas :

• Get the mixture of soapy water and white vinegar.
• Use gloves to protect your hands
• Apply the mixture evenly using a cloth
• Rinse the velvet with a glove - Dry the fabric with a sponge
• Once the velvet is dry, sprinkle your sofa with talcum powder and leave to act overnight
• Vacuum afterwards

For silk velvets, dry cleaning must be carried out :

• Use the Sommières earth mixture to sprinkle on your sofa and leave to act overnight, vacuum it up.

To clean a leather sofa, you must gently apply moisturizing lotion, baby cleanser or Marseille soap to the stain. For stubborn stains, beat an egg white and mix it with the juice of half a lemon. Then soak the stains with this mixture using a cloth. Finally, once the stain is removed, you must apply glycerin to the leather to nourish it. For greasy stains, clean either with soapy water or a solvent (trichlorethylene). Before using any product, we recommend testing it on a small (not visible) area.

Before cleaning a relax chair , you must dust it:

• Use a slightly damp microfiber cloth
• Pass the cloth over the entire chair, paying particular attention to the areas in contact with the head and feet
• Dry with a soft, dry cloth

To remove stains, use a mixture of water and black soap.

For certain persistent stains:

• Ballpoint pen: Dab the stain without rubbing with a cotton pad soaked in white vinegar and water
• Blood and food stains: Dab the stain with a mixture of dishwashing liquid and water
